# GCR — Global Clinic Rating

> Independent rankings of hospitals and clinics worldwide, across 28 medical specialties, scored on verified patient outcomes rather than paid placement or marketing claims.

GCR computes a single Rating (0–5, three decimals) per facility per specialty, using a Bayesian model over verified patient reviews (rating, volume, recency). No facility can pay to change its Rating.
