I'm pregnant with my 3rd child and this was my first time trying valley women for women. I loved the queen creek office. The midwife I saw was super nice and took her time getting to know me. The nurse who took my labs was lovely and very nice to talk to. The ladies up front were friendly and welcoming. I'm excited to continue my care with them.
I've been to this office three times to see Dr. Jacqueline Tetreault. Each time there was little to no waiting before they called me in. Very pleasant staff all around. I love Dr. Tetreault! She took her time with me going over test results, answered questions and explained all of my options. As a post menopausal woman, I went in because of an ovarian cyst. I love the fact that if you go in for an ultrasound you get the results from the doctor immediately after the ultrasound so there is no follow up visit or additional copay required. I highly recommend this office.
I went to the Queen Creek location at Valley Women for Women while I was pregnant with my first child. I loved Dr. Tetreault because she was knowledgeable and clear. I had no anxieties or stresses about having my first baby because all my questions were answered and I felt like her and her nurse, as well as the front desk and ultrasound technician, were invested in me and my baby personally at each visit. I enjoyed my check ups. I ended up having complications six weeks before my due date and they were discovered while I was at a routine appointment. The situation was rather terrifying while I was being rushed to the hospital however, everyone was calm and supportive and when I arrived at the hospital, they had already received all the information from my doctor and further instructions and doctor visits were already arranged. It was a very smooth transition for a scary situation and I couldn't thank the staff enough for their diligence and quick action to save my baby. I will absolutely be returning there for my future children.
I have been to the Queen Creek office many times and always had an enjoyable experience. However I went in a bit ago for a pap. I had gotten an irregular pap the year before, being hpv positive as well. When I got the news I was mortified and scared. They make it seem like it's not a big deal which it generally isn't but it was still terrifying! Fast forward to the next pap. I had Tetreault that day. She started the appointment by telling me that it was my fault I had hpv because I didn't get the vaccination. Mind you, I was 11 when I was offered it. I told her that back in 2004(when I was 11) a lot of adolescents were getting sick or dying from it. My mother decided to not give it to me. She told me that her children were part of the study for it, everything my mom read was wrong and if she would have vaccinated me I wouldn't be having these problems. She continues to go on about how wrong my mother was and how I got lucky for not having any symptoms, like warts because she has seen a lot of people with them and the treatment is awful. Mind again, I am legs spread open and she's performing the exam while belittling myself and mother. Once she was done, she was gone. I bled heavily and cramped for 5 hours after that pap, I normally spot a bit so I don't know what she did. I have never experienced such a rude and unprofessional doctor. I had no control over what happened 13 years ago, even if I did, that was a personal choice. A patient should never feel ashamed about their diagnosis or choices. Kellea Danuser is absolutely wonderful though. If I come back, it's only because of her.
Been going here and the Gilbert location for 8 years and had 2 children with the midwives here. We had a follow up ultrasound for an ovarian cyst that we are very concerned about. We were refused service on our scheduled appointment day because there was a mixup with the insurance company and there was a small balance owed by us that we couldn't pay that minute. 8 years and 2 kids and we've never missed a bill. The insurance company messes up the billing for one procedure and we were surprised with a small bill and they refuse service for a very serious follow up appointment? I'm sorry, but we deserve better service than that. I called and spoke with the office manager to explain the mixup with insurance and the first words out of her mouth were "have you not been getting the bill?" Not, "Can I help you" or "we are sorry for the miscommunication".... no... just money money money. She said, "policy is that all balances are due at time of service..." I can understand that, but I can't understand treating long time loyal customers this way, especially when we needed this follow up ultrasound for diagnosis (not just a routine appointment) and for such a small amount owed ($150). We will pay the balance owed next paycheck since we just found out about it, but we will not be returning for service to this place. In the meantime, we are scared about the very painful ovarian cyst that burst and had us in the emergency room, but Valley Women for Women doesn't seem to care about that. They care about the $150 we owed them and didn't know it until the day of the appointment but couldn't pay that instant due to finances. We are incredibly angry and disappointed that they would treat us this way after going to them for so many years.
Worst OBGYN I have ever been to. The staff is great but the person who treated me was incompetent and awful. Came in with pelvic pain, an ultrasound was... Read more at Yelp.com.
