Had 2 surgeries here and physical therapy after both of them. Love the staff and the facility. Definitely recommend.
MORE Than ONE Issue: #1 Called and told they would only see me for two body parts. WHAT I have a shoulder, elbow and wrist on one arm. So you saying you will not look at them all. She said Correct! I was desperate and they could see me soon so I went on. When I got there I told them this was stupid and they said ok, wait and see the doctor. So I did. He okay and xray of them all. #2 Told the doctors would not see me unless I completed the online history forms, even though I had been there before. Ok...So I completed them. Went into finding exact dates etc. Took some time. Then when I got there the front desk ladies stopped their conversation long enough to wait on me and said " you did not complete your online forms" I told them I did and they said well you have to do them again and here is the paper documents to fill out. Ugh #3 Probably the WORST: Rec'd a call from TODM Rehab. She told me I needed to come in at 1:00pm for the next 3 weeks. I asked if she had anything later or earlier, she said no. I explained I had a drive and this would take 3 hours of work everyday. She said this is the only appointment available for a new patient. I explained I am not as new patient I had been there before. She said our staff does not like to come early or stay late... I said you do not seem very patient focus, you seem very staff focus and she HUNG UP ON ME! (I tried to schedule Rehab the day I was at the office when the doctor prescribed it, they said rehab will call me this afternoon or tomorrow, it was almost 2 weeks before they called me.)
If I could give them no stars, I would. The office people are severely disorganized and they use this one girl as their escape goat to take the brunt of patients anger, it is a shame. They gave me a surgery date way over a month in advance and 2 weeks before surgery they call me and cancel because they don't have all the doctors they need for the surgery for that day. Oh, but wait, first they call and rescheduled the pre-op appt and then 5 min. later they call and cancel the pre-op appt and the surgery, even though I was very nice about them rescheduling the pre-op. This should have been taken care of before you give someone a surgery day after the patient has already scheduled their life around the surgery. After the patient has already scheduled their work life around the surgery and insurance. Yes, I got angry with them and they didn't even call me back, as they hardly ever return the phone calls anyway. I thought finally I was going to get my spine problem fixed but nope, not this year and now I will be finding another doctor and not only will I be careful what doctor I choose but what office staff comes with it. It is a shame what your office did to me. Now, because of insurance I have to wait until the later of 2017 to get someone to do the surgery which means another year of suffering with pain. SHAME ON THIS PLACE!!!
Dr. Smith-Be warned now..... don't see this guy. Did carpal tunnel surgery on my hand and a year later numbness and tingling are back again. He was also supposed to do injections at the time of the surgery and come to find out from our insurance company he didn't do it. Even though this was his plan of treatment and it was even discussed in pre-op and he never told me why. In fact he never saw me again after my surgery they only would schedule me with his assistant. The whole office was a mess, even the office manager couldn't be bothered. But the lady who collects payments could sure call me. I made multiple attempts to talk with someone about the issues I had but seriously no one would return my calls. Go to someone else!
I've been to the Tomball location twice and it's been over an hour wait both times. When I called to make an appointment they insisted I see the PA, but I declined. During my first visit, the doctor was running late. They insisted I see the PA but I declined again. My second appointment was pushed back another week and they insisted guess what that I see the PA. But guess what??? I declined again. I'm not paying $60 in copay to see the PA.
