Swiss Smile team lack professional courtsey and client focus when dealing with customers. I had a very bad experience regarding a dental control. I was given a appointment for 9:45 am (Bahnoff) and when I complained after waiting until 10:30 they suggested me to visit 2nd centre at Bahoffstrasse that I ll be attended immediately. But to my astonishment I was asked to wait until next 20 min more and these guys never knew background information. Communication lag, mismanagement, unacceptable response left me frustrated and I had to leave without being attended.. Alternative appointments/ acceptance of delay/ sincere apologies would have done the trick to save my day.. But in the end my day was wasted.. Bad experience !
Please don't go here. I went there for several treatments, but after an awful experience in Oct 2016 I moved to a dentist in Germany, recommended by the expat community. Swiss Smile charged me for things I did not ask for. They also recommended to pull an infected tooth, put an implant and crown to replace it, and pull 4 wisdom teeth, which would cost me CHF 10.000. I went for a second opinion at a German dentist and he had the same recommendation as my dentists back in the US and the Netherlands; never pull the wisdom teeth at my age (late 30s), unless you're in pain. The German dentist also did not pull my infected teeth, but was able to treat and save it. In the end it costed me 1000 Euro, instead of the CHF 10.000 Swiss Smile calculated. My last treatment they also started a complete check, while I just came in for some x-rays. I had to explain twice what my appointment was about till the dentist (Mrs Paul) stopped. I am still arguing the invoice, as they also invoiced me the time spent on things I didn't ask for. In the discussions about the invoice there is zero acknowledgement that they could have made a mistake and zero flexibility. They don't explain and ask when you come in, they just start. They really don't put themselves in the clients shoes. Therefore, please really avoid this place and find a different dentist.
