I've been going to Dr. Ornstein for 10+ years. He is professional and knowledgeable. He has never given me the creeps as one other reviewer posted; he is a very nice person. My two daughters and I all go to him for checkups. I've never had a problem and all the staff are friendly and helpful.
I just saw Dr. O for an eye exam and he was able to hit me for a hard contact lens that corrected my vision and protects my cornea. His staff was friendly and very helpful with my scheduling needs and extremely professional. I would recommend his office to anyone in the west valley who needs early morning appointments and great service.
I am always satisfied when I go to see DR.Eric....I took my scrip somewhere else for some "cheap" glasses and that's exactly what I got.You need to know what your insurance covers - take it in and they work with you....Toni is the best at finding the right glasses for you!!!I'll never go anywhere else EVER!!!!
I've been coming here for years and frankly am shocked about some of the negative comments. Dr. Ornstein is very professional, I cannot believe that anyone would be disappointed in his professionalism. My family has been seeing him for years and I wouldn't consider seeing anyone else. I've gone to the mall "eye care" centers and have been so disappointed and frustrated, I was very happy to finally find someone who takes their time and answers all of your questions. My daughter had previously a hideous experience with another doctor when trying contacts, thanks to Dr. O and his staff she's wearing contacts, I had the same experience (with someone else) with my glasses, so frustrated but he fixed the problem. When he found something behind my eye, he made sure I contacted my doctor and followed-up, where do you find that service anymore?
Worst experience! Front desk unprofessional , I called to make an appointment told all my insurance information and was told the contact exam would be... Read more at Yelp.com.
I had a little eye infection when I went to see him. When I talked to the staff and asked how much I would have to pay out of pocket (the part my insurance wouldn't pay) they said they would take care of it and charge just the annual exam which would be covered by the insurance. After he "checked" my eyes he prescribed me some kind of steroidal eyedrops, which did not help at all. After a while I went to another eye clinic, and when they checked my eyes they took those drops and threw them in the trash and asked me who the hell gave them to me because it caused a very high pressure in my eyes which explained my headaches at that time. The new doctor figured out that the only problem I had was my contact solution and gave me something different. After FOUR months, I got a bill of over 60 dollars from this first idiot of a doctor to pay my visit. When I called them about it, it took them about a week before the actual doctor finally called me back and he said "he would talk to the woman that worked that day and ask her why she would tell me the insurance would pay when she can't know that" and would call me back. Of course, he never did. I just keep getting letters (bills). When someone tells me "don't worry, you won't have to pay, this is covered" and then I get a bill, well then how about the person that tells me some lies in the first place pays it - the lesson will show how not to lie to customers anymore.
