For the first time in 65 years, I have 20/20 vision in both eyes, without eyeglasses (that were always smeared and hurt my nose), and without contacts lenses that present their own set of problems. It is all thanks to Dr. Solinsky who helped me prep my right eye for one year, his staff and the Eye Surgical Unit of Hartford Hospital, the most pleasant and professional staff, even at 6:00 am! Thank you!!!!
Absolutely fantastic experience in every possible way. Miraculous change in vision beyond my wildest thoughts, all after many years of very challenged vision. I should have taken Dr. Solinskys advise to do the cataract surgery sooner. He's not only an amazingly skilled physician but also a fantastic human being. It doesn't get better. Also, and this is very important, he is supported by a wonderful staff. I could not recommend more highly. Update: just had second eye done another superb experience with fantastic results.
Dr Solinsky performed both of my cataract surgeries this month. He is very patient with questions, not only explains options available but also the advantages and disadvantages of each, allowing us to make informed decisions. His staff is excellent, and he is extremely knowledgeable and competent. I happily recommend him to anyone in need of an eye specialist. Thanks, Dr Solinsky, for restoring the sight of my youth!
Dr. Solinsky is a fabulous doctor and his staff is very professional, friendly and pleasant. All the doctors are great! I just had cataract surgery and the process was very organized and professional. I am very pleased with my results. I would highly recommend this practice. There is always a doctor available to see in case of an urgent need for an appointment. The only negative is there is usually a long wait in the waiting room. Expect to be there at least an hour.
I had a good visit until I inquired about the buy one get one free sign. I was told to see the folks on the lower level as the assistant serving me had no knowledge. Then when I went down to get my glasses. I was made to feel as if the only ones to benefit from that service would be those persons who were wealthy enough to be paying cash for their glasses. If insurance covers any portion of your glasses you were not entitled to a free pair. So although I had to pay well over three hundred dollars for my glasses I could not get a free pair. How unfair is that? Maybe the sign should read in large print for the well to do only....
