Malta international airport is a surprisingly modern and compact place. Everything seems to the highest of standards. There are signs for the various areas of the airport. There is a watching area, food court, duty free shops and many more. My visit was very quick and pleasant.
It's fine.I arrived way to early for my flight home. There's Costa coffee and the loos are clean. After check in there's security and as thorough as Bournemouth Airport. There are hook up points in the gate area to charge your phone. After that it's the same as any other airport in the world and we wait to be called. There is a nice touch, there's a piano here and one of the passengers played it till his flight was called.Yes people did clap as he went to board his plane. If you can play the piano its a great way of cheering up the troops.i wish you safe skies.
A small but well planned airport. Access to it is not at all remote like other airports it is on a major bus routes and stops. Enough space for a walk around.
The airport is small so it's easy to get around. Clean and well looked after. If you want a taxi you can have a very long wait. Best plan is to pre book, as you could wait 30 or 40 mins.
Small but good airport. If you will be doing check in in the airport it's good to be there a bit earlier.
Airport has good connection with big cities in Malta via bus. Bus stops are right a from of the entrance to the airport. :)
