Iconic sydney leisure park with lots if area to just lounge around and relax. see a lot of office workers enjoying their picnic lunch. also has a war memorial. a must visit if you are new to sydney.
This is the best park i have ever been to. the park is always clean, no homeless people, people just laying in the grass. this is a wonderful park that always have different events. i came during the food festival. i am glad that the park is not too big.
No matter what city i travel to, i make it a must do to stop in that city's major green space. it just makes me feel good that cities dedicate such valuable land to keeping it natural. i noticed a lot of locals just coming here and sitting down to get away from all of the hustle of the city. there are a few pieces of local art and the trees are huge!
Great place to relax in the city for a few minutes or a few hours.
wonderful fountains and pools, beautiful green lawns, large shady trees, plenty of benches to sit on, access to trains from multiple corners of the park, public toilets as well, tree-lined paths and plenty of room for a picnic.
being right in the centre of the city it's a short walk or a stroll from all of the food, shopping and sights you could hope for.
Large relaxing park with plenty of trees, grass, flowers and fountains right in the heart of the central business district of sydney. at the southern end of the park is the war memorial with magnificent stone carvings on the walls and a large shallow pond and fountain at it's front. well worth a visit.
