My wife and I just had our first child at GSPH and we couldn’t thank the staff enough. Everyone was above and beyond helpful and made the experience one to remember. So we thank you.

For a private hospital that charges so much money, at the least they could offer more to the patients and the visitors.

You not only have to pay for parking as a visitor but the most surprising part was, they didn’t even have snacks (little biscuits) in the coffee room.

Even the public hospitals offer that.

Unbelievable.

As a Registered nurse I had the worst experience of being a patient. I had a wonderful surgeon and the nurses in ICU were wonderful but once on the ward it all changed. I couldn't reach anything and my daughter had to help sponge me at least 2days . Never did staff offer to see that I could brush my teeth or brush my hair. I could wait 40 minutes for my buzzer to be answered and then another 40 minutes to get pain relief and by this time I was in agony. Most nurses were completely lacking in empathy . Luckily after a few days I was able to help myself

I was in for day surgery, but for various reasons I have seen the place in operation for far more life-changing and significant interventions, and this experience was consistent with my previous observations. The staff were uniformly courteous and efficient, they all had their jobs to do and were clearly well trained and experienced. I have no complaints about the facilities; some parts of the hospital are getting on in years, but are well maintained, while other parts of the hospital are recent developments. What this shows to me is that it is a living hospital that grows and adapts to the needs of its patients.

My surgery went well, from the pre-admission processes and admission, through preparation and recovery before discharge. The surgery itself I don't know much about, but I came out with the results I expected so happy with that as well.

Totally competent caring and capable staff on Ward 42 orthopedics. Extremely attentive . Food was fabulous. Some of the moaners leaving less than flattering reviews need to consider for one moment that there are many patients to look after and some have higher needs that others.
I found my care and treatment exceptional.
