When I found out I was pregnant, I chose Paragon because I wanted holistic care and a good midwife. I saw a few different midwives and two OBs over the course of my pregnancy. A couple of the midwives didn't acknowledge my husband much, and it bothered us a bit, but their treatment of me was exemplery. Dr. Tom Mendise isn't what I would call rude, just short and to the point (to a fault) and after having seen me quite a few times, still didn't remember me. Molly Kerstetter is the midwife who I saw the most throughout my pregnancy and was present for my labor and delivery. She's amazing! Even my doula said that if she ever had another hospital birth, she wanted to have Molly as her MW. Overall, I had the kind of care I desired, and I will go back to Paragon for future care.

The only thing I would recommend is Dr.Mendise. Other than that I hate it. The secretary and nurses at this location are very rude. And god forbid you need a refil on a prescription or have a question. You'll get the run around for days on and or you'll be on hold for hour(s). If this wasn't the only close location from my house I would go elsewhere.

Something terribly wrong with the scheduling department they have now through Summa. Not only was I told the wrong date for my appointment and I called to confirm it was in fact the date only to show up and it was wrong. Both times I called the scheduling department the woman was rude and never did I get an apology from them. Unorganized and not impressed with the complete lack of care. The only reason I don't give them a 1 is because I like their midwives!

One of the worst experiences of my life, and I only delt with them on the phone. Constant back and forth and no communication thru other nurses. I was told to call a number that was no longer in service, and I was told I was being inappropriate with them for being upset, I then told them I will find another doctor and cancelled my appointment then within 15 minutes got a call back saying they gave me the wrong number. I then cancelled the appointment by the automated system and it apparently didn't go through and was called saying that I basically didn't ever call to confirm anything. I would advise no one to go there whatsoever.

Worst customer service ever. I would advise all women to go through a different office. If you have a refil or a question you will be on hold for more than an hour. I'm currently on hold and it's been 40 minutes. All I need is to refill a prescription since I completely ran out. Every time I've been to the location for an appointment they seemed to not care about the patient. I've been in customer service industry all my life. I don't normally complain, but this is out of control. I will be switching doctors immediately.

I wanted to see a midwife for my pregnancy, but they kept me waiting for 1 hr. 15 minutes for my first appointment, and took 3 people ahead of me who... Read more at Yelp.com.
