Absolutely dreadful service, I tried 11 times to get through to cancel an appointment.Got a recorderd message every time. Does anyone ever answer the phone there?

I know there are some bad reviews on here but my experience with this practice can only be described as excellent.
Perhaps it depends on which dentist you see.
I do think that nhs charges are expensive.

I was given two appointments as I needed 4 fillings, 2 on either side. The fist visit was the right side and was on a Saturday. The dentist hit a nerve when giving the injections and I felt it shoot all down side of my face, neck and shoulder. Giving him the benefit of the doubt and being a nurse myself and understanding not everything is always strait forward. I returned for the fillings on the other side of my mouth. Once the dentist had finished these fillings he asked me to close my mouth to make sure the fillings felt okay. I did this and felt that I couldn't close my mouth fully as the filling was too high and big. He sanded it down a little bit and asked me to check again. It was still uncomfortable and too high and I told him this and he said it will sand itself down and be fine. I got home and it was so irritating I couldn't eat on that side of my mouth and my jaw began to ache as I wasn't chewing like normal. The filling was also digging into the other teeth which then also started to ache. I called the dentist and they couldn't see me for 4 DAYS... 4 DAYS... the relief when I went back in and another dentist filled it down and told me it was really high and that he is not sure why it was left like that. Will be moving dentists... paid around £300 for all my fillings.

Absolutely disgraceful my son turn up for his appointment this morning for a wisdom tooth extraction , he had to take 2 days from work and ashe had to have someone with him I had to take a day off work my self
( I'm hisfather)arrived 15mins early they took my money then 15 minutes later someone came out and said he was booked in by mistake and they can't do the treatment , blamed some other receptionist that's not there, I said surly you must look at the diaries in the morning so they know who they have got in on that day, ( I'm a salon owner, I know and my staff know who's doing what for the whole week!!!!!!) They said they don't check the diary,
I've lost money my son lost money surly some heads have got to roll, back there again in two weeks let's just see🙁🙁🙁🙁

ZERO STARS! My mum was sent to a facial specialist hospital ...

ZERO STARS! My mum was sent to a facial specialist hospital lastnight with half her face swollen after a trip to this dentist! Whilst pulling her tooth out they knocked out a filling in another tooth told her they took the remainder out and then filled it in. She had facial X-rays at hospital and they've said they left some old filing in there which has caused an infection! Not only was it their negligence that caused this but when my mum rang up and told then she was advised by the hospital to get an emergency same day appointment the rude cow on the phone said "so basically you want an appointment, there's no more today come back tomorrow" so rude, unnessasry and unprofessional! Would not recommend!
