My first experience with NHS dentist - never again..Badly fitted filings, damaged gums. If you are in a desperate need of a dentist - it will do. If you value your teeth as something you cannot replace and will need for the rest of your life - avoid.
Extremely rude receptionist. My dentist was running late so when I asked how long she would be as I had two extremely restless children after a 40 min wait, the receptionist said "as you've already been told, your dentist is running late so you need to sit and wait" (I hadn't been told anything). The dentist wasn't much better, rude and ignorant. My next appointment was cancelled twice and when I phoned up on the day to explain I'd have to rearrange as I was ill. I was told I need to give more notice next time and "explain the reason why I was giving such short notice" in a tone that sounded like I'd just ruined her day, well I thought the reason was obvious. I will be looking for a new dentists surgery as this one doesn't even warrant one star!!!
to say I'm not a visitor to a dentist is a understatement, getting on a bit now I decided its time to go (a very minor abscess had nothing to do with it I look like a rooster lol ) appointment attended to today with dr. Emma Hele and her amazing assistant ( sorry forgotten your name ) As my consultation started I began to feel well lets say sleepy, the 2 ladies were amazing both with support and treatment through out - not rushed no panic ( well only me) and even said no problems to seeing me again by fitting me in on Friday. Not wanting to flood your practice with millions of people asking for you, id just like to say thanks and let everyone know if you ladies are the level of doctors there your gonna be very busy
