Kliniku Elite Dental navštevujem pravidelne a prácu stomatológov, a dentálnej hygieny si veľmi vážim. Rada by som vyzdvihla aj prácu recepcie, ktorá mi pripomína preventívne prehliadky :) Ďakujem a s radosťou Vás doporučujem.

From initial emails to and from dentistprague.co.uk I was expecting the treatment to cost about £900. On arrival, I sat down with the dentist to discuss the final price. With pencil and paper she drew a diagram of the treatment that I had explained I wanted and we agreed on what needed to be done. I then directed her attention to the bottom line. Which was £1050. I purposely put my finger on the £1050 figure at the bottom of the page, and said to her.. “that’s it. There is no more. That’s the grand total?” To which she replied an emphatic, “Yes.” I nodded to her for confirmation and said once again “that’s it? There is no more?” To which she nodded in the affirmative and said “Yes”. With that I was more than satisfied, simply because that was about what I was hoping to pay. Little did I know, that was the beginning of the deceitful tactics which were designed to raise the price considerably, and take me to the cleaners.
At 3pm we got on with the work we had agreed on. Nearly five hours later 7:30 pm...ish I was ready to leave with a considerable amount of the work completed. On my way out stepping through the door, the receptionist called me back and told me she wanted to give me an invoice. I asked if she could give it to me the next day, to which she replied she could not. Then I twigged she was asking for money. The bill she gave me was for £758 which I paid. It did seem a bit odd that I was being asked to pay before treatment was finalised, but I paid anyway.
The very next morning at 11am I sat in the chair again ready to resume. Something like five hours later, I was done and it was time to sit at the desk again and settle up.
I was handed a bill for £1282 and as I’d already paid £758 it left a balance of £525 to pay. Slightly more than I was expecting, or what I’d been led to expect, but I didn’t mind too much and was prepared to let it go. It was then that our able dental assistant hurriedly legged it out the door, and glancing back at the dentist, I couldn’t help noticing she’d suddenly had an attack of severe anxiety and was suddenly very nervous. Why, I had no idea but it was obviously an indication of what was coming next. You’ve guessed it, it was another £1282 on top of what I’d already paid. After a reasonably well mannered argument where I did not lose my temper or shout, I managed to get a discount which brought it down to £1108, so in total I was being asked to pay £1866. Almost double the agreed face to face price. Which I reluctantly paid.
Was I ripped-off? Definitely: Was I set up and taken for a sucker. Yes. But... because the good quality of the treatment and the price compared to what I would have been asked to pay in either London or New York, it was still reasonably good value. The trouble with that: I didn’t go to London or New York. I went where I was told the estimated work would be in the region of £900. So at the final agreed price of £1050 I had no reason to smell a rat, especially when the price was confirmed face to face. Even with the final price confirmed at £1050 face to face, I was still presented with a bill of £1866 and expected to pay it. It's like dealing with a dishonest used car salesman, or worse. Such blatant deceit leaves you speechless.
Don't make the same mistake as I did, believing the many online reviews stating that Prague is exceptionally good value for money. They are horrendously out of date. It was true once, but not any longer. Prague's rip-off status is now on par with Moscow.
5 star dentist in Prague. I didn't go as they gouged the prices on me for services though.
I was very satisfied with the treatment The experience was quite good, so I was very satisfied with the treatment. Their English for a non-native speaker - a Czech person was excellent. They communicated very clearly and explained everything.

The treatment was pain free! Dr. Kaca was very good, gentle and made me feel at ease. I was afraid it would hurt, I even bought pain killers, but I did not have to use them at all. The treatment was pain free! I am completely satisfied. I have even recommended my friends to visit this clinic.
