I recently bought a beautiful pair of Tiffany glasses from Alicia at Cohen's. With your purchase of designer frames, you receive a free pair of frames as well. I haven't bought a new pair of glasses in about 7 years, partially because I wear glasses everyday and it's hard for me to find a pair that "feels right", also because I love the current glasses that I have. Unfortunately I sat on them, cracking the lenses, and I decided I need a change. Alicia kindly assisted me as I tried on about 50 pairs of glasses, before ultimately finding the Tiffany ones. Overall I had a great experience and I would recommend everyone ask for Alicia when you go there. She was so patient. After finding the Tiffany frames I tried on another 20 or so frames, before choosing the free pair that strongly resembled the glasses I had been wearing for the past 7 years. Cohen's has a plethora of frames to choose from, and I absolutely love the two I chose. Dr. Zara gave me a quick eye exam and was lovely. The rest of the staff were both knowledgeable and friendly, and I feel confident recommending Alicia's assistance to anyone looking for new frames, better lenses, contacts.. etc.

After going to a few different places I found Cohens Optical of Lake Grove in Smith Haven Mall most helpful. Customer service is outstanding and very helpful with all my eye needs. Julie is the best in the business. 5 stars all around from me.
The women here are very rude. I honestly cannot believe they are still employed at this store. Unbelievable, they need to be fired. I have called cohens customer service directly to complain about the staff at this particular location. Only reason they get 2 stars is because my glasses came out good.

They want to sale you the most expense eyeglasses o paid more than $500 for the frame and no refund they no explain well which métod is working better for you My prescription they did wrong the first time the lentes ruin more my vision I had to go to the dr they made to much headache and pain I fall because the lenses made me dizziness I can't work well was terrible week next week I back to the store they made a new test because the first one was wrong they and then they explain me how the lents work this is a TRAMP!!!! The workers here are all extremely rude. They don't explain things clearly and give you an attitude if you try to clarify or ask them again. I saw one associate talking down to an elderly couple and asking them the same thing multiple times in a rude tone. When I gave my insurance information, the person helping me asked me if I'm sure that I'm part of the insurance plan because he couldn't find me - of course I'm sure! Why would I have given you that information in the first place? Then, he magically found me on the system soon after. The only person who was decent was the eye doctor. I do feel like he didn't give me the correct prescription, so I will be getting a second opinion elsewhere. After getting my exam and waiting a bit to get used to the contacts I was trying out, I had to deal with the associates in the front again. After explaining that I already waited for 15-20 minutes to wear the contacts and took the eye exam again, he told me to go walk around the mall and do some shopping or something. He did not listen to a thing I said. Decided not to use my insurance yet and wasted $150 on an eye exam here. I even had to ask for a few trials (they gave me 3) to see if I wanted to change contacts whereas other places would give me a week or two's worth of trials without me even asking. Good thing I didn't get any glasses here. For a place that charges a lot, they sure are stingy and provide terrible service. Definitely not coming back.
