Completely agree with the over priced comments, our experience was that they also mis-represent coverage for operations. We are insured by NIB and they do not coverage the hospital they operate at, even though the practice claimed they were. We were thousands of dollars out of pocket as a result.
I have been taking my daughters to Children's Dentistry for the last 6 years. We were initially referred from another dentist due to a condition they couldn't handle. They are Paediatric dentists that specialise in children and the whole experience for both kids and parents is very stress free as the staff are very professional and caring. We take our girls for general check ups too as they are trained to find potential problems early, saving me heaps in the long term - highly recommend!
Our 3.5 year old was diagnosed with a condition which meant the enamel hadn't formed on his teeth and he needed a lot of work done to fix and protect his teeth. Dr Mala and her entire team were incredible. The practice is beautifully geared towards making little people feel at ease. We were so happy with the treatment our son received and he can't wait for his next check up! I strongly recommend Dr Mala and the team.
The team and treatment we receive at Children's Dentistry has simply been astounding. The practice is super kid friendly and our two kids look forward to going to the dentist. We receive thorough reviews every visit and everything is explained great detail and in layman terms. Our previous dentists never took any x-rays and said they were not necessary. The x-rays and the explanations provided at Children's Dentistry has provided us a great understanding and the value that the team at this practice provide. At all costs, avoid going to preferred provider dentists as they only treat you to a bare minimum based on your level of cover and never the treatment you actually need. Hands down, we would recommend Children's Dentistry as it is worth it in the long run.
Ridiculously over-priced. We asked for a quote regarding our next appointment in 6 months time (after spending Hundreds of $) and when we attended this 6-monthly appointment, they refused to honour the quote they had given us! Also refused to give us our own files to transfer to our new Dentist. Avoid if you can: choose an ethical and principled Dentist instead.
