A young woman, and man knocked and ran the door bell. I answered the door where I was babysitting at, and the young man introduced himself and what company he worked for. The female did not, and stood there with a very unwelcoming/unfriendly face). I told them I was the babysitter and she spoke up and replied "well when would be a better time?" Not with a smile or any kind of friendly mannerisms/friendly voice. I replied and said "I guess later on today? (Not knowing when would be a good time for them since they have a young child) she replied and said "well what kind of car should we look for? Also with an attitude. And I replied back and said "That information isn't something I'm going to tell y'all I'm sorry" the young man agreed and said he very well understood why...she however had the same look on her face, and didn't say anything back, but just stared. Going door to door for your job you should have a more professional, and friendly appearance other than not introducing yourself and making unprofessional questions.
This place is a complete sham. They advertise positions as "Training Manager" or "Account Executive" but the reality is you'll be going door to door selling cable packages. The pay equals out to less than minimum wage, it's 100% commission. The "interview" consisted of going to Starbucks with a guy who played every position up with grand titles but it all equates back to working your butt off to make someone else rich. The fact that they're still allowed to operate is a testament to how corrupt this country is. I interviewed for a "Training Manager" position and asked very specifically on multiple occasions "Is this a direct sales job or a true training position and I was lied to every time until the final "interview." Save yourself the headache of this amateur hour Micky Mouse show. You're better off working at McDonald's than at this farce of a business.
Walking in everyday I am greeted by the friendliest faces. HR and Management really have a way of making every individual they come across feel important and of value. Echo is one of the friendliest most supportive places to work, Not only do they support my goals they are always lending a helping hand to push me towards my goals and strive for bigger and better ones as well. Echo has taught me so much about business and continues to expand my personal growth and development every day.
I started at Echo Business Solutions, Inc. back in February. Since that time, I have enjoyed everyday at the office. Echo is a great stepping stone to jump start my career. The work environment at Echo is one the most fun that I have ever experienced. The best part is that everyone in the office is there to help each other. The business is completely merit based and everyone is given the same opportunity.
