When a person or a group of people take action on behalf of another; action which results in others doing what they’ve been created to do; action which results in others being who they’ve been created to be, then TRUE SERVICE has taken place.
At Grace Church we believe TRUE SERVICE will bring a person into an ENCOUNTER with God; will TRANSFORM a person into the likeness of God’s Son; and will EQUIP a person to fulfill God’s unique and significant call to serve in the world. We are surrounded by many people living in quiet desperation, unaware of who they are or what they’ve been created to do. We serve to set them FREE!
Here are a few things people at Grace Church are doing to serve others:
1. Short Term Mission Trips to Ray of Hope Orphanage in Mombasa, Kenya
2. Short Term Mission Trips to Saltillo, COAH, Mexico
3. Short Term Mission Trips to Betel – UK as well as Betel-USA (Church planting ministry targeting the homeless and drug addicted.)
4. Monthly Outreach to Imperial Plaza Acute Care Center (Retirement Community)
5. Annual drive to supply people groups throughout the world with audio Bibles (MegaVoice)
