What we say we believe is actually quite amazing and almost too good to be true. We say that Jesus, the Creator of all things, has in His infinite wisdom decided to give us back what Adam and Eve gave away; salvation, adoption, friendship with God, all the resources we would ever need, joy, peace, courage, strength, etc. And we say that we believe this same Jesus now lives in each of us, never to leave us or forsake us. Amazing stuff that if acted upon will cause us to stick out like a sore thumb in our world of anxiety, worry, lack, tiredness, strife, and judgement. I wonder if maybe we're the very ones our world is desperately in need of?
